Screenwriter, Writer and Journalist Anna Rita Santoro Honored by the Global Short Film Awards

Award-winning screenwriter, writer and journalist Anna Rita Santoro has been recognized by the 2020 Global Short Film Awards for her outstanding new book about the life and career of legendary Italian filmmaker, screenwriter and director Federico Fellini. Ms. Santoro’s latest book, Fellini: Dreams and Reality – A Psychographic Profile, is a special edition to be released on the 100th anniversary of Fellini’s birth, and covers his life, films and dreams. In Ms. Santoro’s unique style and approach to her subjects, she also delves into Fellini’s visionary film scripts, which were very much ahead of his time, and widely acclaimed as some of the most brilliant works in cinema. The 2020 Global Short Film Awards are honoring Anna Rita Santoro as Outstanding Screenwriter, Writer & Journalist. Designer Grace Moon To Show Exquisite Creations at GSF Awards Cannes Gala

Fashion designer Grace Moon will present a selection of her latest creations during the Cannes Global Short Film Awards Gala and Luxury Fashion Shows event on May 25, 2019. Part of the fourth annual edition of the prestigious event, the gala will be held at the iconic Intercontinental Carlton Cannes in Cannes, France.

Grace Moon is a fashion designer and CEO of JM Inspired Design Corporation, a design consulting and brand marketing company. Throughout her 30+ years of experience in the fashion industry, Ms. Moon has worked with companies like Guess as a designer and developer, Papaya as an accessory designer, Foreign Exchange as a head merchandiser/buyer, and Moon Collection as head high-end line designer.

Grace Moon has presented her own signature brand designs at Fashion Weeks in New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. She recently collaborated with the Korean high-end jewelry brand, Amore de Helen, to design and launch a fine jewelry line called Golden Cats Collection. The line is designed and made in the USA to be marketed and sold in Korea.

Ms. Moon served as a judge for the 2016 Miss Korea Pageant for its historic 60th anniversary event. She was also invited to judge the 2017 Miss Korea Pageant and designed the one-piece dresses and the highlight evening dresses for the pageant. Ms. Moon is currently designing in Hollywood, working closely with many famous designers and producers.

Third Annual GSF Awards Gala in Cannes Soars to New Heights

The third annual Global Short Film Awards Gala was held on May 19, 2018 at the iconic Intercontinental Carlton Cannes on the glamorous French Riviera. The festive evening included dazzling fashion shows, awards presentations, world-class entertainment, red carpet and a delectable gourmet dinner and champagne reception.

While attending the storied Cannes International Film Festival three years ago, GSF Awards founder and director Andres Aquino identified an opportunity to combine top-notch fashion and entertainment while recognizing exceptional short films in a glitzy upscale event. The international jet-set of royals, VIPs, celebrities, influencers, movers and shakers that descends on Cannes every year has embraced the GSF Awards Gala enthusiastically, quickly making it one of the most “don’t miss” events in Cannes. It also includes the participation of top fashion models, international press and makeup and hair industry leaders.

Andres Aquino, who is also the founder and producer of Couture Fashion Week New York, now entering its 28th consecutive season, also decided to extend the luxurious experience on the Cote d’Azur by adding a viewing party for the Monaco Grand Prix. The private yacht party includes fashion shows while guests enjoy prime viewing of the world-famous Formula One event,

FASHION SHOWS produced in partnership with Couture Fashion Week New York. Luxurious and impeccable creations by Glamour Hunter by Olga Farafonova (Spain), JAL Fashion by Chirawan Lewis (UK), Pure Elegance by Parna Ghose (USA/India), Larol by Larysa Rabinska (Poland), Lisa Nicole Collection (USA), Waletty (Germany) and Andres Aquino (USA) whose collection was accessorized with exquisite jewelry by Jennifer Reeves (USA). The Rafinity label from Morocco presented its latest designs in collaboration with the beautiful model finalists for the 2018 Miss Film International competition. Top Vietnamese fashion designer Tuyet Le presented her superb designs and also received the 2018 Best Designer Award.

Stunning MODELS from around the world including Mandy Altena (The Netherlands) who was named the 2018 GSF Awards Top Model, as well as a delegation of top models from Mongolia sponsored by the Mongolian National Designer’s Association.

MAKEUP and HAIR by celebrity stylist Marcello Costa who also received a GSF Award for Outstanding Hair and Makeup in Fashion Film.

PERFORMANCES by top entertainers Aurelia Khazan, Valeria Florencio, Dionita Ionita, BING, Jared Hanrahan, Raisandra, Angela Michele Walker, Melissa and Jidel. Broadway legend Franc D’Ambrosio delivered an unforgettable performance, and also received the 2018 Lifetime Achievement award. Renowned French DJ Koceila Chougar kept the event pulsing, and paintings by Anita de Leeuw from The Netherlands provided a beautiful ambience.
